  • René A. Pfromm is founder of pfromm negotiations, an internationally active consulting firm specialised in strategic and legal negotiations, legal pitching & business development, and legal pricing & fee negotiations. He works with law firms of all sizes to increase the negotiation impact of their partners and lawyers, and to strenghten their pitching, pricing and fee negotiations impact. He also advises domestic and multinational companies on their institutional negotiation set-up, and works with executives and their teams on preparing and conducting challenging negotiation projects. Prior, he was a competition lawyer with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Germany and China. René is a clinical professor and lecturer on negotiation at various universities. He is a graduate of the University of Bonn (Dr. iur.), Harvard Law School (LL.M.) and King’s College London (MA econ).

  • Anne-Caroline Urbain is a new business manager at SEGRO France in charge of developing urban logistics and light industrial projects in the Paris area. Before joining SEGRO, she was the head of business development at a French architecture firm. Previously, she practiced in the environmental, health and safety department of the Jones Day Paris office where she advised and represented French and foreign industries.  She used to teach at the University of Paris Dauphine, INSA Toulouse and Rouen.  She also serves as the First Vice-President of the Harvard Club of France.  She studied Public Affairs in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University (2002-2003), and owns a Master of Environmental Law from University of Paris 11 (2005), in addition to an LL.M. from Harvard Law School (2006).

  • Alvyda Usinskaite is a legal counsel at the Corporate and Institutional Affairs Division of the European Investment Fund (EIF) in Luxembourg, advising on matters relating in particular to the corporate organization, applicable laws and regulations, institutional contractual relations and general legal needs of EIF and the external vehicles developed and administrated by EIF.  Ms. Usinskaite's prior experience as associate at Clifford Chance (Madrid) and Debevoise & Plimpton (New York) covers capital markets, M&A and Private Equity/Fund Formation.

  • Andreas Müller graduated from the University of Basel (lic. iur. in 2008 and Dr. iur. in 2013) and Harvard Law School in 2012 (LL.M.). He is admitted to the Swiss bar (2008) and New York bar (2013). Andreas is a member of Homburger's Corporate / M&A, Executive Compensation and Technology and Digital Economy practice groups. His practice focuses on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions as well as on capital markets law. Other areas of his work include corporate governance and executive compensation. He is the chair of the executive board of a legal periodical on corporate and capital markets law (GesKR).

  • Agnieszka Zarówna is an Associate at White & Case LLP in London focusing on international arbitration and public international law. She holds degrees from Harvard Law School, l'Université de Poitiers and the University of Warsaw. She is qualified in New York and completed her bar traineeship in Poland. Agnieszka acts for States, companies, and private individuals in investment and commercial arbitrations. She also has experience in serving as a secretary and assistant to arbitral tribunals and in advising on structuring of foreign investments.  Agnieszka regularly speaks and publishes on international arbitration topics.

  • Marina Lemos Pires is a lawyer at the World Food Programme of the United Nations, where her practice is focused on public international law.  Before joining the World Food Programme, she worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, in London, where she practiced mainly in the areas of U.S. capital markets, corporate governance and M&A. Marina also practiced corporate law in Brazil at Lima e Falcão Advogados and her previous work experience in Brazil also includes clerkships at the 5th Federal Regional Court and the General Attorneys' Office of the National Treasury, as well as litigation internships at a law firm and at the Pernambuco State Public Defenders Office. Marina holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. She is admitted to the New York Bar and to the Brazilian Bar Association.
